So, what is Google Now really?
Google says “your information when You need it”, and that is pretty much what it is and does. If you have done a google search on your chrome desktop browser (important, since you need to be logged in with the same google account as on your phone), like about an address or pharmacy or so.
Like about your One or whatever it is, this will give you needed information like what type of One it is and so on. WIll show your IMEI and so on, it’s very useful if you want to have all phone info in a file (just copy and paste into a text or word document).
I can start by directly saying that some languages you will NOT find, but most LTR (left to right) using roman letters will work. RTL (right to left) and languages that uses non-roman letters are at times a bit trickier.
One of the new cool things that arrived with 4.2 (on One) and now on One X/X+ is the ability to set wallpaper on your phone from your computer (internet connected computer as it’s a website involved. This is one of the really cool stuff in the newer sense 5.
This will NOT work on HTC One, but just on One X/X+ or other phones that didn’t start life with Sense 5.
Go to Settings > Personalize > Home screen style, where you select the home screen style you want. Traditional or Blinkfeed, I have blinkfeed on myself since that is where I think that sense 5 shines. If you use it: you will start to love it.
When you’re on start of the app launcher, pull down with your finger once to reveal a menu type thing where you can select how to view and such. And to the right you have Menu where you’ll find Grid Size, simply select 4 x 5 to display a total number of 16 apps (it uses one row for other things).
