It’s a fix for the 4.4.2 that addresses wifi etc. The speakerphone issue should be fixed as well, and there you have to install the latest Chrome update (March 17th) as it’s Chrome that causes it. Haven’t found anything else new in this update.
I still see this question, and I guess that we’ll see it a bit more.
Having problems with getting wifi in One with 4.4.2 to connect and stay connected?
As in Sweden/Denmark/Norway/etc. I don’t have more info on just when it hits other regions. But, I assume the normal week/weeks.
The answer is actually pretty easy for this:
- It’s how Google have designed Android 4.4 to be.
- Google have with 4.4 introduced design guidelines for makers using Google Android, more or less “if you want to use android (including Play store, this is the conditions for that”. I think that it’s for users to not be confused over what Android is and so on. HTC have with current Sense version moved closer to how Google designed Android.
Choosed to red out profile name and profile picture of the person asking, for personal integrity.
This is to be seen as a starting point for troubleshooting and not the answer for everything (I will try though).
Yes, I know that some people didn’t really like that Phone keyboard aka XT9 (T9) was removed from the 4.3 update for HTC One some months ago.
KitKat brought google cloud print as Android default way of print, and on One as well. So how do you use it?
It’s Sweet little update, that much I think that we can all agree on. Haven’t found any obvious bugs yet in it.
This is at least my personal view on things after reading what Google themselves say about ART.
