People say to me “Why do a factory reset? It won’t solve a hardware issue” – and they’re exactly right! However they’re missing the point – that is WHY we do it.
I’ve had this device for more than a month now and coming from an HTC One (M7) i must say, without a reason of doubt that, that the Best just got better!
I’ve had my One M8 for a while now and I have to say that I still can’t put it down, HTC really nailed the design of this phone and everything about it is just fantastic!
I had the HTC One previously and loved it, it was the best phone I had ever owned. When the One Max was announced I knew immediately that I wanted one. I take and edit a lot of photos on my phone and often got frustrated at the size of the screen for viewing and editing…
This article draws an analogy between electricity flow and water flow; the analogy holds up quite well, as far as I’ve taken it… but take it any further and it starts to fall apart. It is not intended to be a description of how electricity actually works; it’s simply an analogy which helps convey some of the ideas involved.
Good morning world! A two hour train journey from Nottinghamshire to That London… Not too early; arrived at London St Pancras at 1pm on Tuesday. The occasion was the unveiling of HTC’s new phone; I was one of the very privileged few non-journalists to have been invited to this event.
I can begin to say: I’ve never properly used a windows phone before, less do I have any previous knowledge of it. That’s how I started, and I have to admit that found the manual for it rather quickly since I had very little clues of what I was doing I can tell you. But I installed the update for the phone before I wrote this as well.
OK so we’ve seen the all-round review; we’ve seen the steps needed to make it work properly on a Mac… but what about the LESS than positive things? The things that will irritate you or make you miss another phone? Don’t get me wrong I love this phone – especially as a work phone. But there are ALWAYS things you would like to see done better. Here are the ones I’ve found.
I’m forever going to be a Mac, never a PC. But today I discovered that being a Mac gives you unneeded issues when it comes to connecting a Windows Phone to the iOS software. I spent literally hours today trying to figure out how to sync my new 8X to my Mac, just so I could put some new music on my phone. It was a long haul, but I finally got there! So, instead of just “buying a real computer”, (thanks Craig! ;)), I figured I should share my new found knowledge with you guys so it helps anyone else out with a Mac that may encounter the same issues I had!
So, I have had the Windows Phone 8X by HTC for a few days now and here is my verdict so far.
