A look at Intel Remote Keyboard for Android

Pretty much what it says: a Remote keyboard (and mouse) to control your computer/compute stick from your android device.

But does it work? Yes, it works VERY well. It was VERY easy to set it up. Best experience so far when it comes to apps like this. This whole article is with a computer and phone connected to the SAME network. Computer (windows 8.1) with cable and phone (5.0.1) over wifi.

You simply install the host on your computer. Let it run. And install the remote keyboard app on your android device.

Open the app, it will show the name of the computer which you installed the host on. You tap that, and it will show an OCR code on your computer.

On your android device the app will now show a camera interface, simply point it to the OCR code shown. It will verify your device against the computer. DONE. Now you have a remote keyboard and mouse for your computer.
