How to record screen on HTC One M8 with Lollipop

Simply how to record what you see into a video file.

You can do this via ADB on a computer but that’s not very practical or remotely easy to use.

Yes, you need Lollipop on your device for this to work.
No, you don’t need root for it to work. At least not when you’ve got Lollipop.

It’s pretty easy to use, just open the app and set what you want it it. Like if you want to include sound etc. There is various settings under the 3 dots menu as well. Most of them are very self-explanatory.

The pro version of it can do a little bit more, and record a little longer. But, the free version is good enough.

I like this one since there’s no ads in the app at all. It got a pretty nice UI with the settings you want.

It’s pretty easy to use, and the output is good enough. Very practical if you want to show something.

There’s other apps that can do the same thing, but this is just what i prefer. Using AZ screen recorder on my nexus 7, but recording controls for it fails to work on the m8.
